The new optoNCDT 1302 laser sensor replaces the previous optoNCDT 1300 in the product range. It provides improved performance and is very flexible in its use. Completely new for this series is a Teach-In function, which enables the measuring range to be adjusted individually. The resolution can therefore be improved in this way. This is of particular benefit in applications that require small measuring ranges but high performance. An increased measuring rate of 750Hz now means that the CMOS sensor can be used for all common measuring tasks. RS422 as a digital interface as well as an analogue current / voltage output are provided. As before, the new series comprises five sensors that offer measuring ranges between 20mm and 200mm. Together with an integrated controller, this very compact sensor design enables faster, easier mounting and installation in restricted spaces. Due to a very effective, real time compensation technique for changed reflection characteristics, the optoNCDT 1302 is currently the most powerful model in the low cost sensor class.
